This is the final major update for the site, as we will dedicate the rest of the year to developing more content for Division 2 and other games. We want to provide you with an overview of all the updates and projects we're working on this year.
Clan XP System (Clan Feature)
The Clan XP system is now complete and fully automated by the website. This feature was very difficult to implement, which is why it took us a long time to develop. We needed to carefully figure out how it should work so that the system would make sense and be fair for everyone.
The XP system serves two main purposes. First, it shows which players are making real contributions to the clan. The XP earned by players is added to the clan leaderboard, making it easy to see who is actively helping the clan and who is not. This helps us make fair decisions and prevents us from accidentally removing players who are actually contributing.
Second, the XP system allows us to reward active players. Every month, the top 3 players with the most XP are selected as winners. This creates a friendly competition where players compete with each other to earn more XP and rewards.
The system tracks two types of XP:
Lifetime XP – the total XP a player has earned over time.
Monthly XP – XP earned during the current month.
Monthly XP is automatically reset at the start of each month, and the winners are announced automatically by the website.
Because the system is fully automated, players simply need to participate in clan activities to earn XP.
Clan roster update
We revamped the clan roster page to include Clan XP, roles, the previous month's winners, and the rewards they received. It now automatically provides more detailed information about each member and emphasizes their contributions to the clan. Additionally, we introduced a feature that displays the player's platform, as cross play has been added to Division 2 and will also be implemented in Division 3.
Database Structure Overhaul
Unified Database System
Exotics, Gear Sets, Named Items, and Brand Sets are now unified into a single Master Database
Previously, these categories were separated to support systems like Build Maker, Vendor Resets, and others
This separation caused problems:
New items required multiple entries across databases
Updates were time-consuming and prone to errors
Inconsistent data, such as mismatched talent descriptions between systems
Improvements With the Master Database
Centralized structure allows all data to be filtered and used via code, eliminating duplicate entries
Updates now require changing only one entry, which automatically updates all systems
Ensures data consistency across the entire site:
Talent descriptions
Item properties
Icons and other metadata
Benefits
Reduces time and effort needed for updates
Minimizes risk of errors
Keeps all systems synchronized and accurate
Makes future expansions and updates much easier
This new approach ensures that any changes—like fixing a talent description—are reflected everywhere instantly, providing a consistent and reliable experience for users.
Database Editor Update (ACMS Feature)
Database Editor is a tool built for ACMS that allows all clan members to keep databases up to date. It was coded with a user interface that connects to the databases, enabling easy updates of weapons, gear sets, brand sets, talents, and icons. We made sure it is easy to use so anyone can quickly fix mistakes.
Roster Editor Update (ACMS Feature)
The Roster Editor is designed alongside the XP system. Within the editor, we can update player profile images, social media links, bios, and Ubisoft names. We also use the Roster Editor to assign prestige's to players.
Build Maker 3.0 (ACMS Feature)
Build Maker 3.0 now has a new interface and more code than ever before. Thanks to the master database, it significantly speeds up how quickly you can create and publish a build—it takes about five minutes to post a new build using this tool.
This version introduces new filter features in dropdown menus. For example, when you select the sidearm dropdown, it only shows sidearms. You can equip only one exotic weapon, with other options hidden, and the system prevents you from adding the same weapon twice.
You also have the flexibility to add up to three weapons, but if your build doesn’t require all three, you can choose to include just one or two. This removes the need to add unnecessary weapons that players don’t actually need.
When it comes to gear, we also added a feature where selecting a specific slot—like the chest—only shows items for that slot in the dropdown. This applies to every gear type, allowing you to quickly find exactly what you’re looking for. Previously, all items were shown, but now everything is filtered by category, making navigation much faster and easier.
